This radiation changes the transmittance of optical glass which will impact the viewing comfort of operators while handling radioactive materials. Corning developed a full range of radiation resistant glass including non-browning glass stabilized with cerium, to ensure protection, operating comfort, and safety of people working in hazardous environment.
