Ribbon Cable-200 Flow

Ribbon Cable-200 Flow

Ribbon fiber cable’s extreme density revolutionized the installation process. But with data demand soaring, new advances are needed. Our MiniXtend® Ribbon Cable - 200 Flow provides a 60%* reduction in OD while reducing cable prep time by 30%.

Corning’s MiniXtend Cable with Flow Ribbon Technology is designed for microduct applications. Although typically installed via jetting the cable, it can also be pulled into conduits at the rated loads specified, allowing for a myriad of backbone duct applications. The cable construction leverages Corning’s Flow Ribbon Technology in a centralized design in order to minimize cable diameter, allowing for smaller duct utilization. The microducts can be placed in new construction pathways or be used to “override” existing cables to avoid cost of new pathway construction.

*60%: compared to existing 288 SST-UltraRibbon™ cable (250 µm flat ribbon).30%: Routable subunits require no furcation.
