ClearCurve multimode laser-optimized fibers are widely deployed with higher modal bandwidth to enable high-data-rate multimode applications delivering the highest effective link bandwidth.
ClearCurve OM5 wide band fiber is OM4 compliant and supports extended reach with multi-wavelength transmission systems in the vicinity of 850 to 950 nm. The bandwidth specifications at 850 nm are equivalent to ClearCurve OM4 fiber, as well as the optical and mechanical attributes, ensuring backward compatibility. ClearCurve OM5 wide band fiber is also designed to withstand tight bends across the entire WDM wavelength range.
