Job Overview:

As thePlant Controller,you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success and growth within our manufacturing plant, which includes managing multiple product lines and thousands of SKU's. Your expertise in manufacturing and financial control will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing cost efficiencies, and supporting the plant's overall success. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, to support the manufacturing plant's operations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses, providing insights into the plant's financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures, drive process improvements, and achieve operational efficiency.
  • Provide proactive financial guidance and analysis to plant management, enabling informed decision-making and driving profitability.
  • Establish and maintain effective financial controls and compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and develop actionable recommendations to improve financial performance, cost management, and resource allocation.
  • Drive inventory management and control processes, ensuring accurate valuation and monitoring of inventory levels.
  • Support capital expenditure evaluation and justification processes, working closely with operations to identify opportunities for investment and cost reduction.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance teams on various initiatives, such as system implementations, process enhancements, and financial projects.

Qualifications

  • 科or's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience managing multiple product lines and a large number of SKU's.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
