Purpose of the Position

TheIT Operations Support Analyst对于所有operationa是主要的联系人吗l support in the manufacturing plant which includes supporting SQL reporting and other technical items in the plant.

TheIT Operations Support Analystwill also engage internal plant customers to understand system requirements and design, develop, implement, and support IT systems to fulfill those requirements.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Trouble-shoot complex applications, infrastructure problems or other IT problems that may have a significant impact on the business through an incident management system.
• Interact with customers and partners to fulfill requests or resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Escalate and engage Corporate IT teams for additional support to ensure a smooth production process and high availability of IT systems.
• Help design, develop and support software systems, in close cooperation with the operating departments.
• Coordinate and implement externally developed IT systems
• Create and maintain reports through PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services
• Build and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge System for support and troubleshooting.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation

Education Requirements:

• Associates Degree in computer science or comparable work experience.

Required Skills:

• Readiness to take on responsibility, eager to learn, and flexible
• Ability to work in teams
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in creating reports using SSRS and PowerBI
• Proficiently write SQL queries
• Ability to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and skills

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience with GE Proficy, Allen-Bradley PLCs, Factory Talk, OSI PI, and Camstar
• Experience or willingness to develop software in .NET and T-SQL
• Prior working experience in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with Peoplesoft & ServiceNow
• Formally trained and/or certification in technical areas:
  • Oracle
  • Cisco
  • SAP
  • Microsoft

Position Location:This person will be working in our Erwin Plant in Corning, NY. This is an onsite position

Hours:This person will be working Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with some on call responsibilities
