Overview

The individual selected for this role will be responsible for the technical after-sales support and is used by our customers worldwide

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics or electrical and automation engineering or one Comparable training in a (manufacturing) technical field with several years of professional experience
• Profound knowledge in the field of PLC programming, ideally Beckhoff control with Codesys ST, TWINCAT
• Experienced use of visualization tools
• Ability to read and implement engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Business fluent German is a plus

Primary Day to Day Responsibilities

• Analysis and troubleshooting of SPS/CNC programming, the control software of our Laser cutting systems in collaboration with the respective specialist departments
• Performing PLC/CNC upgrades
• Configuration of machine and software modules
• Use of visualization tools
• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of laser cutting systems
• Customer service and customer briefings on the facilities
