Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Position Description:

• Responsible for continuous improvement and optimization to ensure the safe, efficient and low-cost operation on 5M1E
• Organize and participate in global logistics transportation/storage operation planning, model design, standard formulation and execution
• Overall plan and design for new project expansion requirement on manpower, equipment, process, logistics route and warehouse layout
• Cooperate with PEX/Procurement to lead the logistics AMC saving project to control operation cost and achieve the target
• Work with QA to improve and standardize the quality control measurement in packing, storage and transportation operation

• Work with PTE team to fix the packaging issues and continuous improvement
• Responsible for the evaluation of logistics organization mode for internal logistics distribution, MAX/MIN inventory, load/unload efficiency, safety/quality control and cost saving for continuously improvement

Education & Experience:

• College/university graduation, major in logistics management or related field is preferred
• 3 -5 years relative experience in manufacture
• Familiar with logistic operation process, warehouse management and layout
• Familiar with SAP, VMI/JIT, FIFO etc.

Required Skills:

• Excel, Word, Power Point, Auto CAD
• Familiar with 5S/safety, 8D tools/DMAIC basic knowledge
• Good teamwork and ownership
• Able to work independently
• English writing, reading skill
