Job Scope and Responsibilities:

This position leads the data management, strategy and related process and system improvements within the Global Logistics Organization. The individual will develop, execute, and enhance Corning’s global logistics digitalization strategies. This is a team manager role leading a team of data analysts to standardize, harmonize, analyse data and improve data quality. The team will identify trends and insights, providing actionable recommendations that drive business performance. The position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies and can transform and simplify the way data is managed.

• Logistics digitalization and data management
  • Own data strategy across Corning logistics systems, processes, and tools
  • Manage the logistics data dictionary that describes the data terminology and sources
  • Manage logistics providers data setup, management, and monitoring of compliance
  • Manage data correction, management, and reporting with data owners
  • Measure data quality and define performance improvement activities
  • 维护和/或作为管理员的世界人口l Logistics spend visibility platform(s), transportation management system, spend anomalies application, freight audit and payment solutions, and/or other digital tools.

  • Explore industry trends, benchmark technological advancements that may impact data analysis techniques and tools.

• Global Logistics Reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to manage key performance indicators
  • Perform market benchmarking, analytics to support logistics sourcing and management
  • Track overall GLO performance (Capability Milestones, Shared Objectives, Savings, etc)
  • Work with Business Logistics Managers and GLO Core Services Leads to maintain the Global Logistics Savings Portfolio and support annual Blackbook budgeting process
  • Maintain the global logistics spend report and develop standardized reports on logistics spend, volume and service.

• Support key initiatives of Global Logistics Organization (GLO), Global Supply Management (GSM) and business supply chain initiatives
  • Manage freight bill audit and payment program by managing performance and compliance of suppliers

Travel Requirements:

5% - 10% Traveling

Required Education:

• Bachelor degree. Major in business, logistics sourcing, supply chain management. MBA is an advantage.

Required skills:

• Proven record of minimum 5 years’ experience in data mining, analysis, reporting. Background in logistics industry is an advantage(Overall should be more than 9 years of experience).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau).
• Resourceful and capable of working with large datasets to drive key actionable insights
• Result-oriented with excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving & communication skills.
• Collaborative skills with global stakeholders and across functions
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
