Purpose of Position:The Facilities Technician purpose is to Maintain and operate all HVAC systems, chillers, plumbing systems, building management system, generators, compressed air systems.12 hour night shift from 7pm to 7am.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate all HVAC systems, chillers, plumbing systems, building management system, generators, compressed air systems
  • Perform PM and corrective maintenance on all HVAC equipment and coordinate with 3rd party contractors as needed
  • Prepare and submit summary reports of equipment conditions with recommendation for improvement
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
  • Maintain compliance to City, County, State ordinances and codes
  • Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
  • Delivers proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools applicable to trade

Required Skill:

  • Valid driver’s license and Current Refrigeration Certification
  • 2-10 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance
  • Experienced with chillers and compressed air systems
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Maintain detailed and accurate equipment repair records
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with peers, suppliers, and contractors
  • Ability to work after hours as needed
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • 高中diploma or GED
