Scope of Position:This role involves the planning, scheduling, and the overall monitoring and facilitation of material movement between internal/external sites of CPP (DU, 3PL, VL, CMs, etc.) & global point of contact for all CPT logistics challenges (both CPP and CPG)

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates all inbound & outbound shipments from the 3PL which includes: PeopleSoft (PS) transactions & verifies accurate receipt into PeopleSoft (purchase orders, MSRs or ship trucks), print storage labels where required & apply to pallets
  • Reconcile and make necessary inventory adjustments in PeopleSoft
  • FTL, LTL and parcels
  • Space management, KPI management, quotes from logistics providers & shipping paperwork
  • Coordination of all shipments with internal customers (customer service, account managers, quality, planners, contract manufacturing leads) and external parties (contract manufacturers, suppliers and logistics providers (air & ocean)
  • Provides relevant tracking information to customer service or others as needed
  • Lead for troubleshooting resolution of any shipment, receipt or invoice match exception errors across the division

  • Implements standard operating procedures (SOPs) and proposes modifications to improve workflow and assist in maintaining high customer service levels
  • Responsible for providing written and verbal status reports for area performance including tracking and reporting monthly metrics
  • Ensure safe work practices are strictly adhered to – assist with incidents / investigations if they occur
  • Supports projects as needed (ex. UAT testing for Snowgoose, on premise support at the 3PL including labeling along with facilitation of shipments)
  • End-to-end facilitation of Snowgoose shipments partnering closely with the control tower
  • Maintain a superior level of materials control and Cycle Count accuracy of Raw Materials WIP and Finished Goods
  • Train and meet requirements for chemical movement and storage for incoming chemicals of interest under CFATS program

Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse/logistics environment
  • 3+ years’ experience with inventory control

Required Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:

  • PeopleSoft ERP system, strong understanding of inventory movement and practices
  • Knowledge of Purchase Order Receipts
  • Forklift/PIT experience
  • Experience with Freight Forwarder / Export affairs
