Position Scope

康宁公司的供应链解决方案服务(SCS)专业vides standardization, governance and thought leadership for Supply Chain Production Planning (demand, supply, SIOP) processes in the SAP’s S/4 HANA and advanced planning platforms. In this role, SCS Manager brings Planning Solutions process expertise for deployment projects to translate business supply chain requirements into technical system solutions. He / she identifies and recommends appropriate system (SAP S4H and Planning solutions) settings and requirements necessary to realize business planning process needs and validates these through rigorous testing. Last, but not least the SCS Manager documents and delivers training and drives, as a functional leader, group of experienced users (Power users) in the business. SCS Manager is also responsible for Planning process ownership, leading and owning global change management, developing the documentation with best-in-class practices and recommendations that include linkages to advanced planning systems (IBP, o9, Kinaxis). He / she acts as single point of contact (SPOC) for functional, requirements, improvements and issues resolution for regional Corning businesses and end users for SAP S4H and Planning ecosystem. Lastly SCS Manager documents and transfers planning process knowledge and recommendations to power users/user responsible to execute the business process steps during and after SAP S4 Hana and advanced planning systems deployments.

Position Responsibilities

• Own and deliver PTP subject matter expertise / stream leadership in SAP S4 Hana deployments. Represent PTP in other projects.
• Actively contributes to the S/4 HANA Operational support organization as a PTP subject matter expert for questions and issued identified by a business
• Champion and promote use of standard planning end to end processes (demand, supply, SIOP).
• Document business requirements not met by the platform’s capability. Assist business process owners to build a process innovation pipeline including in business cases when standards do not meet business requirements
• Develop and document of Planning standard processes including best practices and recommendations.
• Develop test scripts, execute, and assist in process testing.
• Delivery of Planning knowhow and trainings to end / Business users. Buildup of Business Power Users and BPOs organization.
• Ongoing Process improvement work with stakeholders to identify opportunities in Planning process area.
• Leverage process mapping for as-is & to-be status build.
• Driving alignment on improvements roadmap and implementation execution

Required Skills

• 5 – 8 yrs working expertise in ERP system - SAP ECC / S4 Hana
• Deep function business process expertise and understanding in Supply Chain, Logistics and Planning (for purchasing, manufacturing) areas
• Hands on experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) or similar Planning Solution (implementation, use, trainings)
• Communication skills (up / down and across org to Business)
• Project and Change management experience
• Problem solving, analytical skills, exceptional follow through

Education & Experience required:

• BA / BS degree (ideally Business or Supply Chain)

Travel Requirements (domestic and/or international):

• Ability to work remotely and ability to travel to international locations for duration of up to 2 weeks at a time.
• Travel will constitute 15% of the role
