Enterprise Platform, Design Analyst

(Remote Work Opportunity)

ScopeofPosition:

The Global Operations Transformation (GOT) office is commissioned to drive the company’s multi-year enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformation from 29 disparate and aging ERP systems across Corning to 3 instances of SAP S/4 HANA. The consolidation of Corning’s current ERP application environments onto a common platform will enable the delivery of enhanced functional capabilities, business efficiencies, increased agility, and a lower ERP cost structure for the company. The GOT team will ensure Corning has a business-led, enterprise-wide approach to the transformation, establishing appropriate standards for data and processes where needed, while supporting the migration of our businesses before, during, and after their implementations.

As a part of the GOT Enterprise Platform Design and Standards team, the successful candidates will work closely with our stakeholders across the organization to evaluate raised requirements, identifying the business opportunity and impact to the program across a set of in scope S/4 processes (includes Order to Cash, Logistics, Plan to Produce, Requisition to Pay and Record to Report). The role will have accountability to connect requirements raised across multiple in-flight deployment projects, live businesses and previously mentioned workstreams to ensure that the end-to-end process design efficiently encompasses these requirements and impact is well understood (process and data).

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Governance Lifecycle process, qualifying new requirements and collaborating with the Enterprise Process Leads to prioritize work and develop documentation needed in execution of the approval lifecycle steps
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define detailed requirements for the proposed process change, understanding pain points and improvement opportunities inside the framework of the ERP Transformation
  • Work with the technical teams to identify solutions and assess impact to live sites and other projects related to implementation
  • Support the change management process by effectively communicating changes to impacted parties
  • Provide input into required end user training documentation materials, business process procedures, and may support training delivery of new or changed system or business process design
  • Prepare business process design documentation and other collateral material
  • Analyze data and system workflows to identify areas for process improvement
  • Drive or participate in functional foundational projects

Hoursofwork/workschedule/flex-time:

  • Monday – Friday, standard business hours.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related program

Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • Minimal of 7+ years progressive experience in some combination of SAP SD/eWM/MM/FICO process mapping, in a manufacturing environment. Experience in more than one domain a plus
  • Experience working on at least two SAP projects
  • Knowledge of SAP standard processes and system integrations

The range for this position is $109,662 to $150,786.Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
